The Buckingham Palace is understood to be navigating some pressing issues as the royal family drama has once again been taking over the spotlight rather than their work. Moreover, as Charles Spencer's book hit the shelves on Tuesday about Princess Diana, containing some damaging claims about the royals especially the monarch, the Palace has been increasing its efforts to deviate from the subject to more meaningful things.
Hence, Charles's 'secret weapon' for the reign is easing some of the tensions with her work, as the King's Office shared a statement on big win. "Celebrating 80 years of @Mencap," the message read alongside a carousel of highlights from Sophie's recent engagement. A post shared by The Royal Family (@theroyalfamily) "Today, The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron of Mencap, joined charity members, myth-busters and ambassadors to mark this incredible milestone," it continued.
"For 80 years, Mencap has supported people with a learning disability to live their lives to the full and achieve the things that matter most to them.".
